Welcome to CONVERSAS — a FEZIHAUS™ initiative!

Between 2020 and 2025, FEZIHAUS has connected with over 100 creatives through projects like CONVERSAS, ASSEMBLAGE™ and SPRLUA. Our work centers music as a tool for building equitable networks—grounded in experimentation, shared authorship, and collective well-being.

In 2024, we launched "Conversas: Who’s Missing In This Room?", a public dialogue series confronting structural inequities in the arts shaped by colonial legacies. What began a podcast and video series agrew into a community forum  between Montréal and Barcelona, in partnership with Flumi, MUTEK, Xn Québec, and InterAccess Toronto’s Terra Firma symposium and featuring four co-presented panels with 14 invited creatives..

Supported by the Canada Council for the Arts’ Strategic Innovation Fund, this work continues through 2025 with public engagements, including an interactive workshop at Eastern Bloc’s Sight + Sound Festival.

In May–June 2025, we expanded this momentum with ASSEMBLAGE 2: FROM HERE TO ELSEWHERE, a cross-continental journey from Montréal to Johannesburg, Maputo, and Mbabane. Featuring NGL Flounce, YUNG PAIN, Alex Ambroise, and Samito, the project asked: How can artists reclaim authorship and value across geographies?

Together, we seek to move beyond inclusion, toward structural transformation across the globe.
